When it's normally working (currently):

Click "profile" which is located below the search bar and right in between the buttons that say "search and "calendar"
Look to the left and there should be a section that says "Modify Profile" than underneath that click the second link that says "Forum Profile Information"
Now go where it says "I will upload my own picture:" and hit "browse" and choose your picture you would like to use.(make sure your picture isn't too large otherwise this will not work. You can resize this by using paint.)
After choosing a picture scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Change Profile"
Now you should have a photo! (=

When there is a crash:

Go to anyone one of these websites www.photobucket.com , www.tinypic.com , or www.imageshack.us .
Browse your photos, and select the one you would like to use.
If you're ask to resize hit avatar 50 X 70. If it doesn't ask, it's okay.
When your photo is uploaded copy just the plain URL with no codes
click this link http://gocoed.com/simple/index.php?action=profile
go where it says "I have my own picture" and paste the link in the box next to it.
hit upload, and then you're done!!

NOTE: WHEN YOU DO ONLY THE DIRECTIONS FOR WHEN THERE IS A CRASH YOUR PHOTO WILL BECOME SMALL AND SEMI-PIXELATED.

Amanda - Thanks for the tip on resizing it using paint. I couldn't figure out why it wasn't uploading. Now, it's finally changed!! Woo-hoo! Thanks!
