I know this is very late, but thanks Michelle for the birthday wishes!!  I forgot my password, so it's been a while since I've been logged on.

Getting very excited about the pageant!!!  Still WAY too much to do to get ready, and we've been super busy, but I'm sure it will all come together!  How are you all coming along on your prep?

Have a beautiful new gown! Have the suit...needs to be altered. Have talent...just have to cut the time down.

Wow it's been forever since I've been on.  I am too looking for the Preteen suit, but I got lucky and got 2 really great gowns, so at least that is done.  I have a suit, but since it's a brown and blush, not sure if it's okay for her age group.  Arayanna is super excited to see everyone again.  We love Coed. 

Holly-I forgot my password too, and was showing another mom the forums, and it just popped in  my head.  LOL 

I can't believe that there is only 61 days until pageant check in.

Tiffany - Holy cow!  Less than 60 days left?!?  Are you serious?!!?  Victoria and I need to get our rears in gear!

We were all set to get a new gown, but thankfully Victoria's gown from last year still fits (not sure how, but it does).  It's been rough, business-wise this year, so the dress still fitting her has been a blessing.  We did buy a new suit, and just need to get it altered.
Victoria has to keep practicing talent and fine-tune it.  We find out tomorrow if she made the talent show at school with it.
We're now on the hunt for the perfect sportwear outfit, actress outfit (script is already picked out), and talent outfit.  I think we'll use last year's suit for speech.

It has been a CRAZY busy month for us here!!  Now that a lot of school events and party events are over, we need to really focus on pageant prep! 

Can't wait to see everyone!!!  Coed pageant weekend is always so much fun!

Happy Mother's Day to all of my Pageant mom's!! 

We are so excited and cannot believe that the pageant is less than 2 months away!

Our progress so far:
*Gown - CHECK! Just need to have some minor alterations done (shoes are bought too!)
*Interview Suit - being made as we speak! Had to go with custom since Ella is so little.
*Talent - working on her routine with her dance teacher and can't wait to see it all come together! Need to find an outfit still -- Sarah I will be in touch about this!
*Photogenic - photoshoot with a friend who is a photographer is scheduled for the 25th and we can't wait!
*Personal Introduction - CHECK!  Ella has been working on this for months and its so darn cute!

Getting super excited to see all of our pageant friends and meet new ones in July!!

So glad Victoria's dress still fits. It is beautiful and she looks great in it!

We are from MN but we might come down to visit! Alexis' dad is stationed at Ft. Riley so it would allow her a fun chance to visit him there AND come to the pageant. Would love to meet some new people!

Hi Ladies,

Kaitlyn will be back again.  Her gown still fits but we were suit shopping yesterday but didn't find anything we liked so we'll be looking next weekend too.  She moves up to Pre-Teen this year.  These girls are growing up so fast.  Looking forward to seeing everyone soon.

Ginny, I'm slowly getting used to the dark hair.  She's been blond for so long and I thought it was too dark but then when her roots started growing out I realized she's pretty close to her natural color.  It's growing on me very slowly.  She loves it though.

Sherri - That would be great if you ladies could come as visiting royalty.  The girls always have so much fun together!

Well, everyone who is on my FB already knows this, but Victoria broke her arm last weekend.    She got her cast on Tuesday, and she'll have it for 6 weeks... which means she'll get it off 2 days AFTER the pageant! 
And now neither her new suit (which we LOVE) nor her old suits will fit... she can't get the sleeve on any of them over the cast!  Looks like we're going to have to go with a short-sleeved suit for state (we got it approved for her, since we really don't have any other option).  I thought we had all our outfits lined up, but we've got some more shopping to do now!

Ella's interview suit arrived in the mail yesterday!!!  It is so cute!  The jacket is not exactly what I wanted, but once she put it on it looked so much better.
Now to figure out shoes!
The suit is pink/fushia with silver accents -- maybe silver shoes?  Not sure if I can find tan shoes for a 4-year old.

Any suggestions?

Some of the little ladies at Nationals had on tan shoes. They were tap shoes without the taps. Just a thought.

Victoria is going to rock the stage no matter what she is wearing and with that cast. She is such a sweet girl and we love her!

So hard to believe that today is June 1st and we only have a little over a month until the pageant. So bitter sweet. We are going to relay for life tonight and Madison will be representing wearing her crown and sash She is also very excited that she was asked to announce the pre-show at her dance recital in two weeks. That may be her last appearance as the Miss Missouri Princess  before the pageant We have had such an amazing year!!

Thanks Sarah!  I will check the dance supply store to see if they carry her size -- she is a toddler/little girl 8.5 to 9 so not sure if they make them that small.

I cannot wait to see everyone in just a little over a month!!  So exciting!
